Aelfric of Abingdon

Another Ælfric was Ælfric of Abingdon (d.1005) who served as Archbishop of Canterbury. He probably performed the marriage ceremony of King Æthelred the Unready with Emma of Normandy in 1002. After his death, he was canonised. His feast day was 16 November.
