The Line of Maria Bradley and Francis Benjamin Boyd Fleuret

Maria Bradley (1817-????), a great aunt of Hetty Jane Owen was the third child of Thomas Bradley and Elizabeth Hounsell.  She was living with her brother Henry and his family in 1861 in their house in 8 Coborn Street, Bow. She married Francis Benjamin Boyd Fleuret in 1841 St Dunstans and All Saints Church. He died in 1846, and the couple had two children.

First Generation (First cousins x1 removed of Hetty Jane Owen)
1.			Maria Bradley (1817-????) m. Francis Benjamin Boyd Fleuret (????-1846)
		i	Francis Boyd Fleuret (1844–????) married Elizabeth Ann Lamb in 1882 in Durham. Elizabeth was formerly married to a ‘Mr Richards’ and had three children from this marriage.
	2.	ii	Maria Louisa Ann Fleuret (1846–????). She was born in 1845 in Limehouse St. Anne’s and is buried in Kensington Green Cemetery. In 1866 she married Henry Dowsett Smith (1846-1895) in Westminster. Henry was from Clerkenwell, and a bookseller. They had three children. After his death in 1895, she married Alfred Charles Dawson in Kensington in 1900.

2.			Maria Louisa Ann Fleuret (1845–1933) m. Henry Dowsett Smith (1846-1895)
	3	i	Louisa Annie Elizabeth Smith (1867–1906). She was born in Notting Hill, but emigrated to Canada. She died in Port Thunder, Ontario. In 1885 in Ontario, she married Thomas Riddell Boyce, who was originally from Dishforth in Yorkshire. They had six children. Louisa Annie Elizabeth Smith and her son Thomas Cox Boyce. 		ii	Henry Arthur Smith (1869–????). No information is available for Henry or his younger sister below apart from their births in London.

3.			Louisa Annie Elizabeth Smith (1867–1906) m.  Thomas Riddell Boyce (1864-1927)
		i	Thomas Cox Boyce (1885–). He was born in Port Arthur, Ontario. He volunteered for service in World War One, and by 1921 was back in Canada. He married Melvina Kimble Putman (1888-1968) and they had four children.
		ii	Arthur Fulford Boyce (1887–1953). He was also born in Port Arthur, Canada. He married twice and had two children.
		iii	John Fleuret Dowsett Boyce (1889–1953). Likewise born in Port Arthur, and likewise married twice.
		iv	Eva Churton Boyce (1891–1958) was born and died in Port Arthur. She married James Henry Hodgkinson and they had two children.
		v	Florence Lena Marguerite (Daisy) Boyce (1896–1913) was born and died in Port Arthur.
		vi	Henry (Harry) Bradley Boyce (1901–1943). He too was born and died in Port Arthur. He married Bertha Almeida Parker (1909-????).

Thus the direct descendants of Maria Bradley, as far as we can follow the records, ended up in Canada, where they still presumably live.

The Line of Alfred John Robinson and Harriett Elizabeth Clarke

First Generation
1.			Alfred John Robinson (1834-????) m. Harriett Elizabeth Clarke (1909)
		i	Alfred Thomas Charles Robinson (1865–????) was born in St. George in the East, London.
	2.	ii	Harriet Mary Robinson (1867–1917) was born in St. George in the East and died in Barnet. She married Frank Meader in 1895, and they had five children. Frank was a house painter.
		iii	Herbert Robinson (1869–????) was born in Homerton. He is recorded on the 1881 census with his family, but no other details have emerged to date.
	3.	iv	Louisa Clarissa Florence Robinson (1870–1952) She was born in Homerton and died in West Ham. Louisa married twice, first to Frederick John Price (1867-1905) and then to Thomas Barnacott. She had four children. The 1911 census captures her in West Ham with her second husband, who was working as a boiler cleaner.
	4.	v	Walter Robinson (1873–????) was born in Homerton. He married Caroline (surname unknown). By the time of the 1911 census they had five children and were living in West Ham where Walter was working as a plumber.
	5.	vi	Rosetta Maria Catherine Robinson (1875–1961). Rosetta Maria was also born in Homerton and died in West Ham. She married William Thomas Peet, and they had two children. Her husband, according to the 1911 census was a general labourer.
		vii	William Robinson (1880–????). He was born in Homerton and was living with his parents when the 1901 census came around.
		viii	Ellen Elizabeth E Robinson (1882–????). She married James Alfred Smith in West Ham in 1909.

2.			Harriet Mary Robinson (1867–1917) m. Frank Meader.
		i	Albert Frank Meader 1897–1918. Albert Frank was in the 17th battalion of the London regiment and died of his wounds in Flanders on the 27th April, 1918. He was buried at St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen. This would have been in the Battle of the Lys, an offensive planned by Ludendorff to capture Ypres. By the time the battle concluded on April 29th, it is estimated that the British alone had suffered some 82,000 casualties in an engagement that had lasted just twenty-two days. The German offensive had resulted in yet another futile but bloody stalemate.
		ii	Ada Meader (1899–????). She was born in St Pancras.
	6.	iii	Annie Meader (1900–????) was born in New Southgate. She married William James Harrison (1903-1986) in Edmonton in 1922.
		iv	Rose Meader (1903–1986). She was born in Frien Barnett, Hertfordshire and died in Newton Abbot, Devon. She married Arthur Bone (1901-1978), again in Edmonton in 1922.
		v	May Meader (1906–????) was born in Barnet, Middlesex.
3.			Louisa Clarissa Florence Robinson (1870–1952) m. i) Frederick John Price (1867-1905) and ii) Thomas Barnacott.
		i	May Louisa E. Price (1898-1941). May was born and died in West Ham. She married Frank Gerald Philbrick in 1930.
		ii	Alfred Price (1903-????) was born in West Ham.
	7.	iii	Lilian Maud E. Price (1904-1995) was born in West Ham and died in Essex. She married Thomas H. Fisher (1899-1959). They had at least one son.
		iv	Adele Ida Barnacott (1910-2012) was born in Essex. She died in Telford in 2012, presumably in receipt of her telegram from the Queen. She married James Wickham and judging by the Ancestry.com site will have had children, one of whom has put more detailed information and photos on the site.
4			Walter Robinson (1873–????) m. Caroline (surname unknown).
		i	Walter Henry A Robinson (1894–1915). He died in West Ham. Walter and all his siblings were also born in West Ham.
		ii	William Robinson (1897–????).
		iii	Carrie Robinson (1904–????).
		iv	Clarissa Rose M. Robinson (1906–????)

5			Rosetta Maria Catherine Robinson (1875–1961) m. William Thomas Peet (1874-????)
		i	Charles Henry Peet (1896-1977). Charles was born in West Ham and died in London.
		ii	Rosetta Martha Peet (1898-1986) was born in West Ham and died in Hillingdon. She married Edward George Russell Wharnsby (1894-1971) in 1922.
Third Generation (Third cousins of Hetty Jane Owen’s children: Harold Eldridge and Olwen Eldridge) The lines continue, but in following their stories, we would in a sense be moving into the territory of Hetty Jane Owen’s descendants rather than her ancestors, which is not the purpose of this tale at least.
