Hetty Jane Owen’s younger brother, Edward Samuel Owen was born in Stoke Newington in 1887. He married Louisa Place in 1915. Edward worked for Charles Albert Eldridge in the silver firm and died in 1960 in Hackney, worlds and generations away now from the family's North Wales roots.
