Harriett Wombwell and her three youngest daughters – at home in 27 Bromley Street, Stepney, St. Dunstan in 1861. Harriett is listed as a dockmaster's wife. The censuses are probably a little more precise than marriage records, for example, which allowed Charles Robinson to be recorded slightly more grandly as a Captain in the Royal Navy on the marriage certificate of Catherine West Robinson to Thomas Carter in 1863.

Rosetta Robinson and Thomas Edward Bradley
Rosetta Robinson, the next of the children of Charles Robinson and Harriett Wombwell married a nephew of her sister Maria’s husband, Henry Smale Bradley. This younger Bradley was named Thomas Edward Bradley. Rosetta and Thomas Edward had seven children. Their stories will be explored in the Bradley family section of this tale.
