The Line of Clarissa Robinson and Joseph James Billings

First Generation
1.


Clarissa Robinson (1844-1935) m. Joseph James Billings (1835-????)

Joseph Sydney Billings (1872–1934). Joseph was born in South Hackney and died in West Ham. He married Isabella Thompson Wiseman in 1899 and three children are recorded. Joseph was a wharf labourer in 1911. He signed up for the army service corps during World War One. We are helpfully informed by the army records that he was five foot six and had a tattoo on his left wrist

Mary Alice Billings (1874–????). Mary Alice was still living with her parents in 1911. She was born in Mile End.

Amy Laurence Billings (1877–????). She too was born in the Mile End or Bow region and was still with her parents in 1911.

Herbert James Billings (1878–1965). Herbert was born in Mile End. He joined the army and is recorded in the 1911 census in the enumeration district for India. He died in Bexley.

Clarissa Dora Billings (1880–1957). She was born in Forest Gate and died in Leytonstone. Clarissa married Albert Edward Reeves (1879-1950), who was a carpenter and joiner. They had at least two children.

Winifred Rose Billings (1883–1967). She was born and died in Essex. She married William H. B. Tonkinson in 1918.

Norman Billings (1886–????). Norman was born in Tottenham. He was still living with his parents in 1911 and had a clerical job at the time.

Sydney Wiseman Billings (1903–1939). Sydney was born in Ilford, and died in Woodford, Essex.

William Norman Billings (1905–1997). He died in Huntingdon.

Lester Herbert Billings (1910–1979). Lester was born in Essex and died in Northhampton.

Clarissa Dora Billings (1880–1957) m. Albert Edward Reeves (1879-1950)

Albert Peter Reeves (1904-1953) was born and died in East Ham.


ii
Norman P. Reeves (1914-1925). Born in East Ham and died in West Ham.
